Camouflage

Today I was in downtown with my friend. Actually I didn't want to buy a thing, but when we arrived at Primark, I couldn't say no to this shirt with a beautiful camouflage print! So today I bought this shirt. The abaya I'm wearing right now, is an abaya which a tailor did in Turkey last summer. Remember this post? I let them made in my summer holidays. This one is made up of linen, actually made to wear it in the summer heat, but I couldn't last it anymore.

Some little details of my room

I love to collect precious stones, shells & everything else what sparkles! Therefore some friends call me "magpie" but I don't care about that name :D We have winter holidays for two weeks, tomorrow starts the second week. That means I have to hurry up with my homeworks, but I really have to do so much -.- I don't even know, how I should manage them all.. The second picture shows the view of my rooms' window. I captured this picture between the fins of my jalousie. The 4. picture shows you an extract of the drama I read the last days for school. I don't like dramas at all, especially when it comes up to read german dramas.. I don't understand them :D In the next picture you see my "new" alarm clock & the last picture shows you, that I like to collect shoe and watch boxes, cases and packets. Knit & a new shirt # I

Asslamu aleykum there! This is just a little update to show you what's new in my closet right now. I got this beautiful pullover and the shirt from a store named New Yorker. I like this store for its assortment of different styles and also for the fact that they have really pretty clothes in winter :)
Right now they have a sale & there you can find these two pieces, too.

Lakeside - (Please vote for me)

Well, Today my school ended after 90 min English lesson, therefore I spend some time with my mother on the lake. In my childhood I went there, with her very often. Nobody else was there, because of the rainy and cold weather, we were the only ones. Now let's get to the look I wear today; it's a comfortable and soft jeans abaya, which I got from my mother. Actually it was embroidered on an oriental way, but I didn't liked it, so I make them away and after that I dyed in a deep jeans color, to have the real color again. Then I took my shirt and my vest, to complete this "Forest Look". I hope you like it, I would like to wirte something more but I have to eat & go back to school right now, because I have some sport lesson. Till then - Fatima

Is your Abaya too short?

Assalamu aleykum there! If your Abaya is really too short for you now, because you grew up a little in the past, then you should read this post further. I don't know if you still remember this post of me, but in that post I wore an Abaya with Lace at the border. So I'm going to show you inshallah, how to lengthen your short coming Abaya's with some beautiful Lace.  

     

 1.Grap your abaya, the lace fabric, Scissors, measuring tape & because of the reason that lace has "cut outs" we need some other fabric as lining (I chose everything black, because of my grey abaya)

      2. Take your lace and measure how much you need for the width & length

     3. Put your lace piece over your lining fabric and make sure they will have the same size by doing this       

         step

 

      4. Now take your lace piece and put it on your lining fabric and cut it you, but before this you should pin your lace piece like me to         avoid some mistakes (it can slip away)

      5. After cutting out, you have to pin them to sew them

      6. Sew your lace piece & your lining fabric together

      7. Then you have to pin this piece on the border of your abaya

       8. Sew it (:

All in all you have to do this process twice, once for the front and twice for the back of your abaya.

winter is here

Salam, here are some impression's from my balcony view. I wasn't courageous enough to go out and take some photo's outside, because it was too cold and I got better just a week ago (had a cold). So hope you like these photo's of me, let me know if you already have snow, too.
